From September 2016 until February 2017, Antonia Bisig worked with two
so-called "welcome classes" at the Ruth-Cohn-Schule Berlin. She
organized group plays and trained them in visual expression. The young
participants came from Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Palestine, Somalia,
Gambia, Rumania, Kosovo. They have fled war, violence and inhuman conditions,
they have survived their flight and in some cases still enduring tiresome
asylum procedures. The exhibition presents works by 20 participants of the
workshop.
